Annual CoreCivic Foundation Golf Classic Raises Record-Breaking $1 Million for Charity

The CoreCivic Foundation held its 34th annual Golf Classic on October 2 in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The tournament raised a historic $1 million this year, and every dollar is granted to 72 non-profit organizations that support justice-involved individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth in Tennessee. More than $9 million has been raised for charity since the event's inception in 1991.

"This year's tournament achieved unprecedented success made possible by our generous donors," said Tony Grande, Chairman of the CoreCivic Foundation. "We're honored to have the opportunity to share the proceeds to support a record number of organizations in our community that are dedicated to improving the lives of those in need."
