LAVC Celebrates Black History Month 2026
Los Angeles Valley College is celebrating Black History Month throughout January 2026.
Join us for events sponsored by the LAVC Umoja Black Scholars Program, in collaboration with the LAVC Black Student Union, LAVC Anti-Racism, and LAVC Associated Student Union (ASU). The LAVC Black Scholars Program is is a mentorship-based learning community created to foster greater culturally relevant engagement, sense of belonging, and academic success for LAVC students of color.
The following is a schedule of the Black History Month events at Los Angeles Valley College.
