City of Sparks to Host Celebrate Sparks! Event at Tony Armstrong Amphitheater, June 27
Sparks, NV- This Saturday, June 27, the City of Sparks invites the community to Celebrate Sparks! - a free, family-friendly celebration and mural unveiling to honor the history, culture, and community spirit of Sparks.
As part of the America 250 initiative, this event will include the big reveal of the artwork by Ely-based artist Jamie Vincek in the Tony Armstrong Amphitheater, a talk from the artist, live music in the amphitheater, food trucks and Great Basin beer, local vendors, and free historical tours provided by the Sparks Heritage Museum.
Celebrate Sparks! is an official America250 Nevada event designed to educate, engage, and celebrate the state's contributions to the American story. The City of Sparks is a partner in the statewide semi-quincentennial celebration.
