December 6: National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6 is Canada's National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, marking the tragic murder of 14 women at École Polytechnique in Montréal in 1989. Today, and every day, we stand against gender-based violence (GBV).
Take Action - All Year Long:
Listen: Be open to learning from others' experiences.
Believe: Support survivors. Say: "I believe you" and "This is not your fault."
Educate: Learn the facts about GBV, review workplace policies, take a course, or join an event.
Speak Out: Use your voice to call out violence.
Intervene: Safely help when you witness GBV-name what you see, express concern, offer support.
Act: Volunteer or donate to organizations working to end GBV.
