NATA Welcomes NetJets’ Natasha Eckard Hammond to Board of Directors

Washington, DC, September 15, 2025 - NATA (the National Air Transportation Association) announced the unanimous appointment of Natasha "Tash" Eckard Hammond, Director of Government and External Affairs at NetJets, to its Board of Directors.

"The addition of Tash to NATA's Board of Directors positions the Association to expand its strategic reach and impact," said NATA President and CEO Curt Castagna. "Her extensive policy expertise, leadership experience, and deep knowledge of aviation issues will bring valuable perspective to our work on behalf of the aviation business community."

Hammond leads NetJets' legislative and regulatory engagement, drawing on a career deeply rooted in federal policy and aviation issues. Prior to joining NetJets, she spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, including serving as Policy Advisor for then-Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives John Boehner (R-OH) in his leadership office. Hammond later advanced to Squire Patton Boggs, where she focused on transportation issues and advised a diverse range of public and private sector clients on federal policy and regulatory strategies.

Hammond holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Missouri and a master's degree in mathematics and statistics from Georgetown University.

"I am honored to join the NATA Board. In this new role, I look forward to working alongside NATA's talented advocacy team to advance key policy priorities and strengthen the voice and impact of aviation businesses across the country," said Natasha Eckard Hammond.
