Pakistan: Balochistan-based journalist murdered in targeted shooting

Lala Israfeel, a correspondent for Hum News TV, was shot and killed by armed assailants in the Musakhel district of Pakistan's Balochistan province on June 6. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and its affiliate, the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), strongly condemn the brutal murder and demand an immediate, transparent, and thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
