Eastbound Main St. Closed Between 2nd and 5th St.; 3rd St. close at Main St. Starting Today
(October 27, 2025) As part of the City's downtown reconstruction project, eastbound Main St. will be closed between 2nd St. and 5th St. for three days while pavers are being installed in the roadway. The road is being closed this morning and will reopen by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29. 3rd St. will also be closed at Main St. during the same time. Westbound Main St. will remain open, but westbound traffic will be shifted to the north side of Main St. as it passes through the 3rd St. intersection. See attached map (PDF).
Please use caution while driving in the work zone, or find an alternate route in advance.
