Mid-October in-person public input hearings scheduled in Mercer County, along with virtual online hearings
HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) will hold a series of in-person and virtual hearings in mid-October to gather public input on the proposed rate increase requested by the Reynolds Water Company (Reynolds Water) and Reynolds Disposal Company (Reynolds Disposal), for water and wastewater services provided to residents and businesses in portions of Pymatuning, Delaware, and Hempfield Townships, in Mercer County.
Reynolds Water is seeking an increase in total annual operating revenues for water service by approximately $359,994, or 54.4%, and Reynolds Disposal is seeking an increase in total annual operating revenues for wastewater service by approximately $289,025, or 44.2%.

Registering for the Virtual Hearings
To pre-register, contact the Administrative Law Judge's Legal Assistant, Branwen Shoop, at 412-565-3551 or [email protected], no later than 10 am on the day of the hearing at which you plan to testify and provide the following information:
Your first and last name.
If you need assistance pre-registering for a hearing, you may have someone help you register, but they will need to provide all the required information. Additionally, if more than one person in your household would like to testify, one person may pre-register for other individuals in the same household but will need to provide all the required information for each individual.
Requests for Interpreters
If you require an interpreter, please pre-register as soon as possible. If you register too close to the hearing date, we may not have enough time to arrange for an interpreter. If you request an interpreter, we will make every reasonable effort to have one present.
If you require an interpreter to participate in the hearing, please call the scheduling office at 717-787-1399, at least five business days prior to your hearing to submit your request.
The TTY-based Telecommunications Relay Service number for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability is 711.
Hearing Exhibits
If you will refer to any documents during your testimony, please email a copy to the Legal Assistant, at [email protected]. The Presiding Officer will forward your exhibits to all the parties. Exhibits for the public input hearing must be received by 10 a.m. on the day of the hearing at which you plan to testify.
