The Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) hosted its 23rd Annual Alumni & Friends Golf Classic on April 17, bringing together alumni, friends and community partners for a day of competition, connection and support for scholarships.
The event was made possible through the continued support of sponsors, donors, and volunteers who invest in student success and the mission of CPHS. A special note of appreciation goes to Discover Dunn, which served as the Presenting Sponsor for the third consecutive year. Their partnership has played a vital role in the success and growth of the tournament, and CPHS is grateful for their continued support.
Participants enjoyed lunch from Chick-fil-A, followed by a post-tournament dinner featuring steaks generously provided by the North Carolina Cattlemen's Association. The day concluded with fellowship and celebration of the scholarship impact made possible through the event.
"This year's Golf Classic was a great success and continues to be one of our favorite traditions at CPHS," said Tournament Coordinator and CPHS Director of Advancement, Taylor Murphy. "It is a true reflection of our CPHS community, and we are so appreciative of everyone who helps make it possible. It is always a fun day, but the support behind it creates lasting opportunities for our students through scholarships, and that is what makes it so special."
Alan Carroll ('05 PharmD) led the winning team, which earned top honors in this year's tournament.
More than 25 faculty, staff, alumni and student volunteers contributed their time and effort to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all involved. CPHS also extends sincere thanks to everyone who supported the Golf Classic through sponsorships and donations.
