Norton Rose Fulbright partner Katherine Tapley (San Antonio) has been elected treasurer of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law (REPTL) section of the State Bar of Texas. In this role, Katherine will join the leadership team in overseeing the operations and strategic initiatives of one of the State Bar's largest sections.
"I am honored to serve as treasurer of the REPTL Section and grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that plays an important role in the Texas legal community," Katherine said. "I look forward to working with the section's leadership and members to provide education, professional development and engagement for fellow real estate, probate and trust and estate lawyers."
In addition to her newly elected role, Katherine was recently appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate Forms Committee. The committee is responsible for developing and updating the Texas Real Estate Forms Manual that provides essential real estate forms and commentary used by Texas lawyers.
A Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, Katherine has experience in all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions across the country, with a focus on the financing and development of multi-family projects, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, hotels and other commercial real estate across multiple jurisdictions.
