Woman Arrested for the January 4 Murder of Food Delivery Driver Near Murfreesboro Pike Nightclub

Tips from the community led to this weekend's arrest of Atirahs Hogan, 21, the suspected shooter in the January 4 early morning murder of food delivery driver David Valentine Jr., 33, as he and a female friend were traveling inbound on Murfreesboro Pike near a nightclub.

The investigation shows that Hogan and friends had been at the nightclub and were kicked out. She is alleged to have fired shots from a vehicle as they were leaving. Valentine was fatally hit by one of those rounds.

The police department released surveillance images from the nightclub Friday, resulting in multiple Crime Stoppers tips.

Hogan is charged with criminal homicide and felony reckless endangerment. She is jailed in lieu of $520,000 bond.
