The final Curbside Giveaway Days of 2025 are almost here!
Get rid of some of your gently used household items with the City of Vaughan's Curbside Giveaway Days, which are back this weekend on Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26.
This waste reduction program allows you to place gently used items, such as home décor, clothing, sports equipment and books, at the curb on select weekends for others to take, free of charge.

What items can be placed at the curb

Friendly reminder - be sure to bring in any items that are not claimed by 5 p.m. on Sunday. Items left at the curb after that time could result in a by-law(PDF) violation.
What items should not be placed at the curb
Items that could have bed bugs, such as mattresses, upholstered furniture or bed linens, should not be set out for Curbside Giveaway Days. Baby walkers, car seats and other items listed on the Consumer Product Safety Bureau are also unsafe to give away.
