Senator Scott also highlighted his No Budget, No Pay Act to hold members of Congress accountable for passing a budget and meeting appropriations deadlines, or forgo their pay, and his work with Senator Johnson to take Democrats' threat of shutdowns off the table completely with the Eliminate Shutdowns Act. Senator Scott has been fighting to pass the No Budget, No Pay Act in the Senate since 2019 as a key part of his Make Washington Work Plan.
