Zhai Jun noted that the current situation in the Middle East is highly tense, with the protraction, escalation, and spillover of the conflict, drawing close attention from the international community. China believes that a ceasefire and an end to the hostilities is the most pressing task, dialogue and negotiation is the way out of conflict, and returning to the right track of abiding by international law and the basic norms of international relations is the fundamental solution.
