TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists there will be daytime lane closures on northbound I-95 for truck access (Tue. - Thurs.). There will be overnight northbound I-95 multi-lane closures with northbound EZPass Lane closure (Tue. and Wed.) for a traffic switch. There will be around the clock lane closure on southbound I-95 off-ramp to southbound Rt 896 for paving (Wed. - Thu.). There will be overnight multi-lane closures on southbound I-95 for paving (Tue. - Thu.) with Cash Lane closures (Wed. - Thu.). There will be a daytime lane closure on southbound I-95 for paving with one Cash Lane open (Fri.). There will be daytime turn lane closures on southbound Rt 896 for manhole adjustments (Tue. - Thu.)

o Tuesday, May 26th: Toll Plaza to the Welcome Center (Double Lane 8PM, Triple Lane 11PM - 6AM). EZPass Lanes Closed.
o Wednesday, May 27th (if needed): Toll Plaza to the Welcome Center (Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 11PM - 6AM). EZPass Lanes Closed.

o Thursday, May 28th: Rt 896 Interchange to the Toll Plaza (Single Lane 5PM, Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 10PM - 6AM). Cash Lanes Closed.
