London - State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) today announces the winners of its twenty-fourth State Street UK Institutional Press Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to institutional financial services journalism.
The annual awards honor the journalists who in 2025 delivered high-quality reporting across key institutional investment themes, including investor services, pensions, regulation, investments and capital markets, investor services, private markets and alternatives, data, technology and AI, passive investments, sustainable investment and stewardship.
Winning articles were chosen for their style, content, accuracy and timeliness by an independent panel of six industry professionals led by veteran freelance journalists Pádraig Floyd and Lynn Strongin Dodds. They were supported by respected figures from the European financial services industry including:
Journalists were presented with their awards at an event held in London. The prestigious Award for Outstanding Contribution to Institutional Journalism 2025, nominated and voted on by the judges, was presented to Jonathan Stapleton, Editor of Professional Pensions. Judges cited that Jonathan's high quality journalistic output over the course of his career, consistent ability to deliver important industry news and analysis and leadership of Professional Pensions warranted his recognition as Journalist of the Year.
