Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Set for Renovated Shattuck Community Hall in Delhi

Merced County invites the community to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Shattuck Community Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025. The event will take place at the community hall site in Delhi, where the Delhi Municipal Advisory Council will meet immediately after.

The longstanding facility has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations made possible through federal funding. These upgrades will ensure the hall remains a vibrant hub for local events, programs, and celebrations for many years to come:

  • Repainted exterior
  • New roof
  • New HVAC system
  • New plumbing fixtures, lighting, windows, and flooring
  • Upgraded parking lot

"Shattuck Community Hall has always been at the heart of Delhi, and these renovations breathe new life into a space that means so much to this community," said District 4 Supervisor Lloyd Pareira. "Thanks to federal support and local commitment, this is now a modern, welcoming space that reflects the spirit of the town."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature remarks from local officials, media availability, and opportunities for residents to tour the updated facility.
