Magnera’s Paul Harmon Appointed to Inaugural Global Nonwovens Alliance Board

Charlotte, N.C., October 2, 2025: Magnera is proud to announce the appointment of Paul Harmon, Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer, to the inaugural Board of Directors of the Global Nonwovens Alliance (GNA). This newly formed board brings together influential leaders from across North America and Europe to advance collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth within the nonwovens industry.

The GNA, a joint initiative by INDA (Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry) and EDANA (Voice of Nonwovens), aims to unify the global nonwovens value chain under a shared vision. Its mission includes strengthening advocacy, expanding education and networking opportunities, and driving innovation and sustainability across the sector.

Paul's appointment reflects Magnera's commitment to shaping the future of nonwovens through strategic innovation, marketing leadership, and sustainable product development. His deep industry expertise and forward-thinking approach will contribute to the Alliance's efforts to align global priorities and deliver meaningful impact.

The GNA Board held its first official meeting earlier today, setting the stage for a unified agenda that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and long-term value creation. In the coming months, the Board will work collaboratively to define key initiatives and establish a strong foundation for the Alliance's global efforts.

Magnera congratulates Paul Harmon and all appointed members of the GNA Board and looks forward to supporting the Alliance's mission to elevate the nonwovens industry worldwide.
