Kyndryl modernizes Megmilk Snow Brand’s workflow system with ServiceNow

TOKYO, March 26, 2026 - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced it has successfully completed the modernization of Megmilk Snow Brand's company-wide workflow system by adopting ServiceNow. Through the initiative, Kyndryl has enabled the major Japanese dairy manufacturer to improve productivity and support digital transformation. Kyndryl will continue to manage the workflow system, enabling continuous operations while supporting Megmilk Snow Brand's continued digital transformation.

"By renewing our workflow system, we will improve employee operational productivity," said Takashi Obata, Director of Digital Transformation Strategy, Megmilk Snow Brand. "The efficiencies gained allow us to redirect time toward strategic core initiatives that further accelerate our digital transformation. Promoting in-house development has also made it easier to add or modify functions in response to employee requests, helping improve employee satisfaction. We look forward to continued collaboration with Kyndryl and ServiceNow as we expand solution adoption and drive further productivity improvements, including the use of AI."

"Kyndryl leveraged its deep understanding of legacy system challenges and proven expertise in large-scale enterprise modernization to deliver an effective, enterprise-wide transformation," said Shuhei Kuramoto, Vice President, CU Leader for Distribution, Communications, Media and Public Sector, Kyndryl Japan. "Through this modernization initiative, Megmilk Snow Brand can enable employees to maximize their capabilities while strengthening organizational performance across the Group and advancing its human capital management goals. We remain committed to supporting Megmilk Snow Brand's sustainable growth and transformation."

"We are delighted that Megmilk Snow Brand has successfully consolidated and modernized its company-wide critical application and approval workflows on ServiceNow," said Tsutomu Ushida, Vice President, ServiceNow Japan. "This milestone advances operational excellence across the organization. By connecting people, data and systems across the enterprise, we provide an integrated platform that drives continuous improvement and sustainable business impact. We are also advancing our AI Control Tower approach - embedding and governing AI agents and models within business processes to enable transparency, control and measurable value. We remain committed to supporting Megmilk Snow Brand in enhancing productivity and operational sophistication through AI-enabled innovation."

Megmilk Snow Brand's new "Next Design 2030" management plan identifies digital transformation and the utilization and development of human capital as foundational strategies. To support these priorities, the company required an enterprise-wide integrated operational platform capable of adapting to evolving business needs while leveraging globally standardized, advanced technologies. Its legacy workflow environment, however, was constrained by limited flexibility, device restrictions and a shortage of engineers with legacy system expertise.

Megmilk Snow Brand selected the ServiceNow App Engine, which aligns with its key priorities and enables the rapid creation and automation of digital workflows. As part of the modernization initiative, Kyndryl implemented the ServiceNow App Engine to consolidate frequently used business processes, including approval workflows, labor management and core data requests, while establishing a scalable foundation for future digital initiatives.
