San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, one-way traffic control from Whiskey Slough in Holt to the Old River Bridge (San Joaquin/Contra Costa County line) for paving work beginning Sunday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

One-way traffic control from Maybeck Road to Port of Stockton Parkway for tree work on Monday, Sept. 21, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from SR-99/Golden Gate Avenue to the San Joaquin/Stanislaus County line for pavement work beginning Sunday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Closures From Manteca Bypass To Sacramento County Line
San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Full off-ramp closure from southbound I-5 to eastbound SR-120/Manteca Bypass for litter removal on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road.
