The Peoria County Board for the Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability is announcing their grant funding award recipients for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The awards came to a total of $1,611,140 to be used for funding community programs.

The Care and Treatment Board is governed by five members appointed by the Peoria County Board with a stated mission to "identify, prioritize, and create a collaborative effort to meet the Care and Treatment needs of children and adults with mental and other developmental disabilities." The board is supported through the Care and Treatment property tax levy.
