Greetings on the opening of the 37th Congress of the Association of Rural and Farm Enterprises and Agricultural Cooperatives

The message reads, in part:

"It is heartening to see that your forums consistently offer such a rich programme, bringing together agribusiness executives, farm heads, and representatives of cooperative associations and agricultural science from across the country.

Over the years, the farming movement in Russia has come a long way, establishing itself as a significant and creative force, and proudly upholding the finest traditions of rural life. Much of this is thanks to you, your careful stewardship of the land, your entrepreneurial spirit, and your drive, which have enabled the adoption of advanced technologies across the agribusiness sector, the delivery of much-needed projects, the expansion of farmland, and the raising of production standards.

In this regard, I would like to particularly note the active work of the Association, which plays a key role in consolidating the professional community, addressing pressing issues facing the industry, and helping to perfect relevant legislation. The Association is also rightly focusing its efforts on the development of rural areas and on improving people's quality of life.

I am confident that this year's congress will be productive, and that the ideas and proposals put forward by participants will certainly be translated into practical outcomes."
