Leadership changes in Kenya, Malaysia and Paraguay

WFA's national association landscape is evolving across several regions through leadership changes.

In Kenya, Samwel Ombogo is the new CEO of the Marketing SocMMSKiety of Kenya (MSK). He succeeds Geofrey Lidonga, who has served as Acting CEO during the transition period. Samwel brings over 10 years of experience in marketing and finance, and his appointment marks a new chapter for MSK as it seeks to strengthen governance and drive innovation in Kenya.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) has elected new leadership, with Hassan Alsagoff (Regional Head of Loyalty & PMTO at Grab) serving as President for 2026-2028.

In Paraguay, Gustavo Egüez (Director of Business & Operations at TEISA) has been elected President of the Cámara de Anunciantes del Paraguay (CAP) for the 2026-2028 term.

Across Europe, national associations have also elected new chairs and presidents to lead their boards:

  • AAI, Ireland: Geoff Codd, ROI Residential Business & Marketing Director, Energia
  • bvA, the Netherlands: Dorkas Koenen, Chief Marketing Officer & EVP, Rabobank
  • ISBA, UK: Mark Given, Chief Technology, Marketing and Data Officer, Sainsbury's
  • SZZV, Slovakia: Tomáš Kautský, Sales Director, Mondelēz Slovakia
  • UBA, Belgium: Aude Mayence, SVP Marketing Digital & E-Commerce, Delhaize Belgium & Luxembourg
