The City of Garden Grove, in partnership with NeighborWorks Orange County, will host a Homebuyer Day on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue. Admission and parking are free.
Prospective homebuyers can meet mortgage lenders, community housing organizations, and real estate professionals to learn about credit readiness, financing options, and the full homebuying process. The Cities of Garden Grove and Anaheim, along with the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA), will provide information about their down payment assistance programs, eligibility, how to apply, and their program's current updates. Food and refreshments will be available, and attendees may enter a free raffle for a chance to win prizes.
NeighborWorks Orange County also offers ongoing Homebuyer 101 Workshops that cover the purchasing process and local assistance programs. For current workshop dates and details on the City of Garden Grove's First-Time Homebuyer program, visit ggcity.org/fthb.
