Celebrate America250 with the Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance at a lively event filled with creativity, energy, and community spirit, Saturday, May 2, 2 p.m., in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street.
Attendees at this free event will enjoy a variety of patriotic performances and activities, including instrumental and choral performances, dance and theater performances, and live painting demonstrations. Children in attendance will be given free flag while supplies last.

This event is being presented by Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance (GLAA) with support in part from The City of Lewisville Arts Project Grant, Texas Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The award-winning Wayne Ferguson Plaza is a 1.5-acre urban park that takes on a contemporary sweeping gesture using water to link east to west and united Lewisville City Hall and Lewisville Grand Theater. It features an elevated stage, a multi-level seating area, an interactive splash pad and a garden filled with swathes of native grasses and wildflowers.
To reach the concert site from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Charles streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
