Tribute and Gratitude for Dhimitër Anagnosti

Prime Minister Edi Rama today paid tribute to the great artist Dhimitër Anagnosti at the homage ceremony held at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The ceremony brought together figures from political and cultural life, actors, filmmakers, as well as many art lovers and citizens, all honoring the distinguished director who passed away at the age of 89, leaving behind a rich legacy of characters and memorable roles in Albanian cinema.

In a heartfelt message shared the day before, Prime Minister Rama described Dhimitër Anagnosti as the father of Albanian cinema, the author of numerous screenplays that paved the way for the country's new cinematography during a time of great challenges for creative aspirations, the director of many acclaimed films, and a master deeply respected by generations.
