Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Yoonjoo will hold the first Korea-Thailand Strategic Dialogue with Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand Eksiri Pintaruchi on the morning of November 26.

This Strategic Dialogue is the first to be held since the two countries agreed to develop the Policy Consultation into the Strategic Dialogue in 2023 in order to conduct in-depth discussions not only on bilateral issues but also on regional and global affairs.

During the Strategic Dialogue, the two sides will discuss ways to enhance substantive cooperation between the two countries, focusing on follow-up measures to the Korea-Thailand Summit held on the occasion of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting. They will also engage in in-depth discussions on regional and global affairs, including issues related to the Korean Peninsula.
