As we celebrate 35 years of doing things The Bob's Way, let's take a moment to celebrate 35 years of fabulous Bob's posters - take a trip down memory lane as we relive some of our favorite milestones to becoming where America shops for furniture!
1991: Bob Kaufman opens his very first Bob's Discount Furniture store in Newington, Connecticut in what was an old Nimbus waterbed store.
1997: Bob's establishes a charitable foundation to help serve our local communities.
2003: A star is born - Little Bob makes his commercial debut!
2007: You've Got Bob! Mybobs.com launches!
2010: IF we can make it there…Bob's opens in the Big Apple.
2011: Mid-Atlantic customers have a new place to find fabulous furniture as we open our first store.
2014: There are 100 places to score the latest looks for less - Bob's Discount Furniture opens 100 stores!
2016: Howdy, partner! Bob's opens in Chicago!
2018: Bob's gets beachy and opens our first LA store.
2021: Bob's celebrates 30 years of quality furniture at everyday low prices. Cheers!
2024: Bob's opens our flagship Sommerville, Massachusetts store, featuring a new home décor marketplace, specialized motion furniture department, and exclusive Bob's café treats!
2024: Beep beep! We make our 20 millionth delivery!
2024: Bob's donates over $13 million to local organizations through our charitable initiatives!
2025: Bob's donates $2 million to hunger relief organizations alone!
2025: Bob's Discount Furniture partners with NASCAR team Joe Gibbs Racing and driver Denny Hamlin to design a Bob-tastic race car!
2025: Bob's goes coast-to-coast in 24 states with 200 stores!
