DOW Awards Over $63 Million for Pavement Repair at Grand Forks Air Force Base

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Department of War (DOW) awarded a $63,966,205 contract to United Crane & Excavation Inc., for maintenance, repair, and design of paving projects at Grand Forks Air Force Base. Work is expected to be completed by March 15, 2031.

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), chair of the Senate Armed Services Airland Subcommittee, issued the following statement recognizing the need for the contract:

"With the 319th Reconnaissance Wing delivering crucial intelligence and warfighting capabilities orvisiting B-1 units flying strategic bomber missions to anywhere in the world, Grand Forks Air Force Base stands at the forefront of modern defense. But mission dominance starts from the ground up. High-quality infrastructure ensures our Airmen and Guardians can execute without delay."
