Southbound SR-15 Connectors to Northbound and Southbound I-5 Closed August 16

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans will close the southbound State Route 15 (SR-15) connector to southbound and northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on Sunday, August 16, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for electrical work.

Motorists on the southbound SR-15 will be detoured onto the southbound I-5 connector, use the W 8th Street off-ramp, turn left onto W 8th Street, and turn left onto the northbound I-5 or right onto southbound I-5.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
