From Patient to Volunteer, A Full-Circle Journey of Giving Back

We're inspired by the incredible full-circle journey of former Dell Children's Medical Center patient, Faith Edwards, who is now giving back to both Dell Children's and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas!

During her time receiving care at Dell Children's Faith and her family found comfort and support just steps away at RMHC of Central Texas, whose mission to support families during critical moments remains invaluable. Today, Faith volunteers at RMHC where she restocks toys, cleans, helps as needed and listens to everyone she meets and helps brighten the days of children and families staying at the house.

Faith also volunteers at Dell Children's, offering hope and encouragement to patients with conditions similar to her own. Her decision to volunteer was inspired by the compassionate and excellent care she received, particularly from retired pediatric nephrologist Dr. Phillip Berry.

This is a great reminder of the incredible support Ronald McDonald House provides to families receiving critical care and their strong partnership with Dell Children's.

"I always knew I wanted to give back, and it's such a full circle moment," she said.
