TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Rt 896 Road and Ramp Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists there will be an overnight road , ramp and lane closures on Rt 896 the week of March 23rd, to implement final traffic pattern changes. (All work us weather permitting.)
Monday, March 23rd and Tuesday, March 24th: Northbound Rt 896 will be closed overnight between the Old Baltimore Pike and Welsh Tract Road to implement the northbound Rt 896 final traffic pattern. The northbound Rt 896 on ramp to northbound I-95 will also be closed overnight on these days. Detours will be posted.
Wednesday, March 25th and Thursday, March 26th: Southbound Rt 896 will experience overnight lane closures between Welsh Tract Road and the Old Baltimore Pike to implement the southbound Rt 896 final traffic pattern.
