Palm Desert to Honor Local Veterans at McCallum Theatre Veterans Eve Celebration

Nominate a Palm Desert Veteran to be honored on stage at the McCallum Theatre!

This year, Palm Desert's Veterans Day tribute is growing into something even more special. The City of Palm Desert is partnering with the McCallum Theatre to present Stars, Stripes and Songs: A Celebration of Veterans on Veteran's Day Eve, Monday, November 10, at 7 p.m.This inspiring evening of music, reflection, and gratitude will honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans and their families in a setting as grand as the occasion deserves.

As part of the program, the City of Palm Desert will recognize one local veteran from each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. These honorees will be celebrated live on stage at the McCallum and their stories shared with the community. But we need your help: do you know a Palm Desert veteran who deserves recognition? Submit a nomination, including their name, story of service, and a photo, at PalmDesert.gov/VeteransDay. All nominations are due by Monday, October 17 at 5 p.m.

This new partnership with the McCallum Theatre will take the place of Palm Desert's traditional Veterans Day event at Civic Center Park, and represents an opportunity to expand and elevateour city's annual tribute into a memorable, community-wide celebration on one of the Coachella Valley's premier stages.
