SEOUL, May 8, 2026 - Hyundai Motor Company today celebrates the upcoming global premiere of the CNN Original Series, 'K-Everything,' on May 9.
As the exclusive sponsor, Hyundai Motor is proud to support CNN's in-depth exploration of Korean culture's global impact, hosted by Tony-award nominated actor, director, producer, and social advocate Daniel Dae Kim. The four-part series will air on CNN International and stream on HBO Max, delving into the pillars of Korean culture: Music, film, food and beauty.
The collaboration reflects Hyundai Motor's journey from its Korean roots to becoming a global mobility leader, mirroring the rise of Korean culture on the world stage. Through its sponsorship of 'K Everything', Hyundai Motor aims to align its vision of 'Progress for Humanity' with authentic storytelling about Korean creativity and innovation that will reach a global audience.
As CNN has announced, 'K Everything' is a four-part CNN Original Series that turns the global spotlight on Korea, exploring the country's emergence as a cultural powerhouse. The series is hosted and executive produced by Daniel Dae Kim, who leads a guided exploration of Korea's cultural rise.
Across four episodes, the series will examine the industries and creators driving the Korean Wave:
• Music: A look into the global success of K pop, featuring artists Psy, Taeyang, Jeon Somi, Allday Project and Meovv, and the fan culture powering the industry.
• Film: An exploration of Korea's cinematic transformation, with voices such as actor Lee Byung Hun, director Yeon Sang ho, screen writer Kim Eun sook, and entertainment industry pioneer Miky Lee.
• Food: A journey through Korean cuisine's global rise, from street food to Michelin starred dining, featuring legendary chefs and restauranteurs Corey Lee, Mingoo Kang, and Cho Hee Sook.
• Beauty: An examination of K beauty's cultural roots and global influence, joined by top model Irene Kim and beauty influencer Leo J.

The four episode series will air weekly on CNN International and will also be available to stream live for CNN International pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, as well as on CNN's connected TV and mobile apps.
