Rockland Trust Appoints Stephen Gogolak as Chief Marketing Officer

Hanover, MA - April 27, 2026 - Rockland Trust has appointed Stephen Gogolak as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Gogolak brings more than 15 years of experience leading brand, marketing, customer experience, and growth strategy in financial services. He succeeds Alastair Ironside, who is retiring following a more than 40-year career in banking, the last six of which were spent at Rockland Trust. Gogolak will serve on the Bank's executive leadership team, reporting to Jeffrey Tengel, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently, Gogolak served as Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Digital Banking at First Citizens Bank, where he led customer acquisition, engagement, and experience initiatives for more than one million clients nationwide.

Prior to First Citizens Bank, Gogolak held senior leadership roles at Silicon Valley Bank and Boston Private, where he led enterprise marketing transformation, digital banking strategy, and customer experience initiatives. He is known for building strong teams, modernizing marketing capabilities, and using data and technology to deliver business results.

Gogolak holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Film from Bowdoin College. He resides in Dedham, Massachusetts with his family.
