Doctors Hospital of Augusta names new chief operating officer

Augusta, Ga. - Doctors Hospital of Augusta is proud to announce their new Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Bedi, FACHE.

"Andrew has been with the HCA Healthcare family for nearly 20 years. We are excited to benefit from Andrew's extensive experience during this time of tremendous growth at Doctors Hospital," said Joanna Conley, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer of Doctors Hospital of Augusta.

Andrew started his career with HCA as a lead financial analyst in Nashville and then worked his way up to associate chief operating officer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center and then as the chief operating officer at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital.

Most recently, Andrew served as CEO for ScionHealth's Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. He led the 75-bed, community hospital through a time of acquisition and growth. He has a long history of helping hospitals grow their earnings and expand services including establishing the first dedicated wound care center in southern Kentucky.

Andrew has a B.A. in Finance from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Health Administration and Business Administration from the University of St. Francis.
