Blaine Bridge Update – 06/18/2026

Blaine Hill Bridge Project Update - Finishing touches on the bridge are underway as the reopening date approaches

NEW PHILADELPHIA - The date to reopen the bridge is officially under the two-week mark for the reopening of the Blaine Bridge. The contractor is working on the finishing touches, including repainting the arches under the bridge and the concrete sides of the bridge. Additionally, pavement marking work will take place the week of June 22, with final sealing on parts of the bridge.

Nearly a year ago, this bridge was reduced to its skeleton, and now we're gearing up for traffic to travel across the bridge!

A formal announcement of the bridge reopening will be shared on the project webpage, along with a press release and a social media post.
