King Tides are expected to peak in the Bay Area from Thursday, January 29 to Monday, February 2, with the highest tides occurring between 7:30 a.m. and noon each day. Flooding is possible in low-lying and flood-prone areas, especially locations that have flooded during pas King Tide Events.
Prepare now:

Clear drainage areas

Remove leaves and debris from gutters, drains, and driveways

Dispose of debris in compost bins, not the street
Secure your home:

If you live in a flood-prone area, consider using sandbags to protect your home from tidal flooding.
Avoid the water:

Stay away from flooded areas and never walk or drive through water of unknown depth. Follow road signs and do not drive around barricades.
