Willkie represented Novacap and its portfolio company InVita Healthcare Technologies in InVita's acquisition of MAK-SYSTEM from The Carlyle Group and other shareholders.

InVita, a provider of the world's most comprehensive human biologics software solutions for blood, organ, and tissue workflows, recently announced the completion of its acquisition of MAK-SYSTEM, a global leader in blood management software solutions. The combination brings together two industry leaders with decades of experience supporting blood centers, transfusion services, hospitals, tissue banks, and healthcare providers worldwide.
