Milling and Resurfacing on Route 41 in Sharon

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 41 in Sharon. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, August 3 and be completed on Monday, August 24, 2026. The project 0174-0488CN "D" consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.09-mile segment of Route 41 in Sharon from Route 4 (Cornwall Bridge Rd.) to Stonehouse Road. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Black and Boucher on Monday, August 3 to Monday, August 10, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, August 12 to Monday, August 24, 2026.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 41 from Route 4 (Cornwall Bridge Rd.) to Stonehouse Road in Sharon. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
