Temporary Road Closures: Along SW 30th Street Between College Ave. and University Dr.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES: ALONG SW 30TH STREET BETWEEN COLLEGE AVE. AND UNIVERSITY DR.

Closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

DAVIE, Fla. - As part of the ongoing roadway improvement project along SW 30th Street between College Avenue and University Drive, a temporary road closure will go into effect to accommodate the installation of the drainage crossings. Portion of the roadway between University Drive and SW 76th Ave. will open to local traffic only.

The roadway will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the following dates:

• Wednesday, December 17 - Thursday, December 18, 2025

• Sunday, December 21 - Tuesday, December 23, 2025

• Sunday, December 28 - Tuesday, December 30, 2025

Members of the community traveling in this area should expect delays, allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes (see detour route and map below). Trained flaggers will manage traffic flow to ensure safety for residents, drivers, and workers. Please obey the instructions from the flaggers to navigate the area safely.

If travelling in the area, you should watch for workers, flaggers, and equipment in the construction area, reduce their speed, drive carefully in the work zone and adhere to the posted speed limits.
