Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA585-8, seeking Commission approval to recover costs associated with natural gas storage in Hilcorp Alaska Gas Storage, LLC's (Hilcorp Storage) underground storage facility through its Cost of Power Adjustment (COPA) mechanism.

The Commission previously allowed Chugach to recover costs associated with natural gas storage in Cook Inlet Natural Gas Storage Alaska, LLC's (CINGSA) underground facility through its COPA mechanism. Chugach now seeks to recover natural gas storage costs for Hilcorp Storage, including capacity and reservation charges and other withdrawal-related costs, in the same manner. As with the natural gas stored in CINGSA, the cost of the withdrawn natural gas from Hilcorp Storage will be determined using the prior month's average cost of stored natural gas.
