Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund in Tajikistan (UNICEF)

On February 18, 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Idibek Kalandar met with the Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund in Tajikistan (UNICEF) Mr. Arthur van Diesen.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation between Tajikistan and UNICEF, including bilateral activities that are carried out within the framework of a number of priority programs in the field of maternal and child health, basic quality basic education, youth health and participation, social policy reform and child protection, which coincide with the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 and the UN 2030 agenda.
