ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Capital Paving and Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 in Carroll and Livingston counties in April 2025. To complete the project, the contractor will be striping Route 65 from U.S. Route 36 in Chillicothe to north of County Road 368, north of Waverly. Striping was scheduled to begin on Monday, March 16 but has been delayed until Wednesday, March 18 due to weather.
Traffic Impacts: Striping will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.
All work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, April 1.
