WASHINGTON, D.C. - Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode released the following statement on the floor vote to advance the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.
"Policy certainty is one of the best things Washington can provide American agriculture, and we are now one step closer to it thanks to the leadership of Chairman Thompson and the bipartisan support demonstrated in today's vote," said Bode. "The bill offers support for American farmers and the future of the ag bioeconomy, which has the potential to serve as a major growth engine for rural communities. We look forward to seeing legislative activity in the Senate that will reinforce Capitol Hill's commitment to rural America."
The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 includes key bipartisan, bicameral policy priorities endorsed by CRA to unlock new value-added market opportunities for American producers and support continued growth of the bioeconomy, including provisions from the Biomanufacturing and Jobs Act and Agricultural Biorefinery Innovation and Opportunity (Ag BIO) Act.
