Family Day on Little Rock Nine Way

Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, in partnership with local community organizations, will host a free Family Day on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Little Rock Nine Way and on the grounds of the historic site.

Family Day on Little Rock Nine Way will feature hands-on activities for children and families, student-led programs, community resource booths, and food trucks. The free event is open to the public and will also include performances by local poets, live music, a DJ, and a variety of food truck vendors.

Family Day on Little Rock Nine Way celebrates community, learning, and the enduring legacy of Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, which preserves and shares the stories of the Little Rock Nine, their families, and the many individuals whose courage helped shape a defining moment in American history.
