CTIA files Reply Comments on Alerting Modernization FNPRM

CTIA filed the attached reply comments in response to the FCC's Alerting Modernization FNPRM and the initial record. In the reply comments, we highlight record support for updates to the WEA system that would reduce duplicate alerts, improve alert comprehension, and eliminate outdated requirements. We also urge the Commission to refrain from eliminating certain geotargeting exceptions, as the record confirms that such changes raise significant technical, operational, and consumer trust concerns.
