Bettendorf Police Asking for Community's Help to Find Missing 21-Year-Old Man

June 7, 2026 - On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 1:36 p.m., the Bettendorf Police Department (BPD) received a report of a missing and endangered 21-year-old man.

BPD is asking for the community's help locating Jamarius Johnson. Johnson lives with family near 18th Street and Central Avenue, is 5'5" tall, and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen on Saturday, June 6, 2026, around 8 p.m. He was discovered missing on Sunday, June 7, 2026, around 1 p.m.

Johnson experiences mental-health challenges. He is generally quiet, keeps to himself, and may avoid social interaction. He has no vehicles, bicycles, or locations he typically goes to. He was last known to be wearing white Nike low-top shoes, jeans or sweatpants, and a shirt.
