TSC Fine Art Gallery Opens Annual Summer Exhibition

July 14, 2026

The Tallahassee State College Fine Art Gallery will open its 2026 Summer Annual Art Exhibition, Jumping for Joy, on Friday, July 17, showcasing the work of local and regional artists in partnership with the Artists' League of the Big Bend (ALBB).

The exhibition explores the theme "Reflecting Light in Dark Times," bringing together a diverse collection of two- and three-dimensional works that examine resilience, hope, and the power of artistic expression. Featured media include drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, and found-object installations.

The exhibition opens with a free public reception on Friday, July 17, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., where visitors can meet participating artists and view the collection.

The gallery will also host an Artists' Talk on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. During the event, participating artists will discuss the inspiration, techniques, and personal stories behind their work, offering visitors additional insight into the creative process.

Jumping for Joy will remain on display through Aug. 28 at the TSC Fine Art Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours, Monday through Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m.
