Update: Lincoln Ave. Safety Improvements at Wilson Ct. & Brookdale Ave. Project
Pedestrian safety enhancements are coming to two intersections along the Lincoln Avenue Corridor: Wilson Court and Brookdale Avenue.
The improvements include installing rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs), corner curb extensions (bulb-outs), upgrading curb ramps, resurfacing roadway, and enhancing roadway striping and curb markings.
Bennett Engineering completed the final project plans in Summer 2025. The project was first advertised for construction award on September 8, 2025, and was re-advertised on November 4, 2025, following a bid protest.
The construction contract for the project was awarded to Altor Construction LLC at the December 15, 2025, City Council meeting.
Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2026 and is expected to be completed by Summer 2026. More details coming soon.
